Can you please introduce
yourself, tell us about your
occupation and your function
at Aquachem?
My name is Ivana Remenar. I am a
graduated teacher of primary education
and visual arts (with no working experience in that field) and currently I am a
general affairs manager at Aquachem.
What are your main tasks,
and what do you like most
about your job?
The position of a general affairs manager includes a wide range of activities
and responsibilities. However, some
of the main tasks include accounting,
communication with the banks and
public authorities, providing the director
with support regarding the planning
of various events, creating reports and
carrying out all other general tasks.
What I love the most is precisely this
diversity – our days are always dynamic
and filled with new challenges, with no
dull moment in sight.
Is there a project or achievement at Aquachem that you
are particularly proud of?
Since my position constitutes just
a small part of a bigger picture, it is
hard to name one specific project or
achievement. The final company goal is
achieved through teamwork and that is
what I find to be our greatest success.
How would you describe
the working environment
at Aquachem? What do you
think is special about being a
part of the Aquachem team?
The atmosphere at work is highly dynamic,
sometimes adrenalin-like, but first and
foremost cheerful. As much as the job can
be demanding, we always find time to joke
and laugh. Those leisurely moments often
make all the difference – when you think
you’ve reached your limit, someone makes
you laugh and things get easier.
Are there any interesting or
funny anecdotes from your
time at Aquachem that you’d
like to share with us?
As I have already mentioned, the atmosphere in Aquachem is always a
cheerful one. We have plenty of such
stories, especially from our team building gatherings and parties. And we are
a company that really likes to party.
What do you do in your free
time? Do you have any hobbies or activities that help
you relax?
I don’t have that much free time during
the week but I try to reset over the
weekend, preferably in nature. Nature is
the only place where my brain goes into
OFF mode. I love to hike, and I use every
chance I get to go to the mountains or
local hills with my husband and children.
QUICK QUESTIONS

What are
some key
lessons
you’ve
learned
working at
Aquachem?
The most
important lesson
I have learned
is that I can
relax, that there
is no need for
fear or worry
related to work
because there
is a solution for
everything. We
are all working
people and
those who work
sometimes make
mistakes. We all
learn and grow
from mistakes
and move on.
